MPC Corporation was founded as HyperSpace in 2001 and became a public company in October 2004. Then operating as HyperSpace Communications, Inc., MPC Corporation acquired MPC Computers in July 2005. MPC, formerly known as Micron PC, has been one of the top ten PC companies in the US PC industry for the last ten years per IDC and Gartner. MPC operated as a private company from 2001 to 2005.
