Asset/Information Tagging
Asset/information tagging involves the creation of custom identification tags that include organization-specific information such as department, technical-support or contact numbers and their application onto individual hardware items. The use of asset/information tags is a cost-effective way to track and inventory your organization's technology.
Asset/information tags can be attached to CPUs or monitors. The asset/information tag information can also be loaded into the system's BIOS. Specialized tags can be purchased through CIS in a variety of sizes, colors, adhesives and prints to meet your organization's unique requirements.
Service Process
- STEP 1You receive the Custom Integrated Solutions (CIS) terms-and-conditions agreement.
- STEP 2You supply information and personalized specifications for the asset tags, including directions as to where you want the tags placed on the equipment.
- STEP 3Asset/information tags are created and applied per your specifications.
Time Frame
Lead times will vary per project based upon unique customer requirements, system platforms and image complexity. Your Sales Representative can help you determine the lead time.
Purchasing Information
The Asset/Information Tagging service is purchased at the point of sale, on a per-item basis, with a 50-unit minimum. Pricing starts at $15 per asset tag for the CPU; each additional external component is $10. Quantity discounts are available.
