Factory Integration & Installation Services
MPC has the flexibility and expertise to assemble and configure a wide range of custom-built, factory-configured computing solutions delivered directly to your site. This helps lower your cost of ownership by reducing installation and configuration expenses, enhancing product quality, and freeing up your IT staff so they can focus on core projects.
Custom PC/Server Hardware Installation
The Custom PC/Server Hardware Installation service is the factory installation of almost any industry-standard component or peripheral.
Service Process
- STEP 1You receive the Custom Integrated Solutions (CIS) terms-and-conditions agreement.
- STEP 2A pilot system is created and custom components installed and tested by a CIS technician.
- All requested components are verified for FCC & UL certification. Custom components must be Class B certified. If a custom component is Class A, there may be an FCC scan testing fee applied.
- Custom RAID or partition setup requires specifications provided by your organization.
- Once you've approved the pilot system, MPC is ready to build the order.
- STEP 3MPC builds the order, placing any third-party component documentation in the accessory box, if space allows. Otherwise, documentation ships separately.
Time Frame
Lead times will vary per project based upon unique customer requirements, system platforms and image complexity. Your Sales Representative can help you determine the lead time.
Purchasing Information
Custom PC/Server Hardware Installation is purchased at the point of sale, on a per-system basis, with a 50-unit minimum for PCs, and 5 units for servers. The cost is $20 per machine, and quantity discounts are available.
