Turn to On-site Notebook Exchange for a hands-off notebook replacement solution. If MPC's technical support determines that your notebook is defective, an MPC-authorized technician is sent on-site to replace your defective notebook shell, defined as a fully assembled notebook including the memory and central processing unit (CPU), but excluding Customer Replaceable Units (CRUs). CRUs are Internal notebook hardware that can easily be replaced or removed by you. Examples include, but are not limited to the floppy drive, optical drive, hard drive, and battery. The Replacement shell will have the same serial number as the covered unit it is intended to replace. This re-serialization will allow you to maintain consistency within your asset management records.

Technical Support will schedule an agreed upon timeframe with you for the on-site technician to arrive, the next business day, with a replacement notebook in hand. The on-site technician will remove the CRUs from your defective notebook shell and install them into your replacement shell, verify system functionality prior to leaving your site and will package the defective shell and ship it back to the designated MPC repair facility. A complete hands off solution!
